The Energy Body Weekend Workshop
Oct 17-18

What if there is more to your experience than what you can see and touch?

This immersive weekend workshop is an exploration of the subtle dimensions of being—the energy body. Drawing from the wisdom of Qi Gong, Yoga, and meditation, we’ll explore how breath, movement, attention, and stillness can open the door to a deeper awareness of the energetic landscape within us.

Through practical exercises, guided practices, discussion, and embodied exploration, we’ll investigate the relationship between energy, emotion, vitality, and consciousness. You’ll be introduced to accessible tools and practices that can help cultivate greater harmony, sensitivity, presence, and connection—both within yourself and in your relationship with the world around you.

Whether you’re completely new to these practices or have an established practice of your own, this workshop offers an opportunity to slow down, tune in, and explore a deeper dimension of what it means to be fully alive.

Open to all levels. Taught by Qi Gong and Yoga Teacher Andrew Dow.

YOGA FOR THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

The nervous system is constantly responding to the demands of our modern lives. Yoga offers a powerful set of tools for regulating this system, helping us move between states of activation, rest, focus, and recovery with greater awareness and ease.

In this workshop, we’ll explore how yoga practices can influence the nervous system and shape the way we experience stress, energy, and relaxation. We will also map your own ‘unique nervous system map’ using the Yogic framework of the Elements. Through guided practices and teachings, we’ll develop a deeper understanding of the relationship between the body and nervous system while exploring practical techniques that can be integrated into daily life.

Accessible to all levels, this workshop offers an experiential exploration of yoga as a pathway toward greater nervous system awareness, regulation, resilience, and balance.

Through Buddhist teachings, modern neuroscience and psychology, discussion, and meditation practice, we’ll cultivate these innate qualities of the heart as a pathway toward greater mindfulness, insight, resilience, and freedom from suffering.

Accessible to all levels, each session combines a Dhamma talk with experiential meditation practices to help bring these qualities into everyday life.
